The biggest update is that book three is finally in the editing stage! I started editing last week and... well... let's just say it's been slow going so far. I've managed to get through around three chapters, which isn't bad, but I'd definitely hoped to be a bit further along by now.

If you’ve been wondering what’s been happening behind the scenes in my little author world, here’s a bit of an update… First things first — book two in the How The West Was duology (or duet… I still can’t decide what sounds better 🤣) is officially in progress!

I thought it was time for a little update on what’s happening behind the scenes with my writing. The good news is that Book 3 has officially been planned out, and draft one is almost done. This next book will be a sequel to How the West Was Faked, so if you enjoyed Harper, Wyatt, and the world of the ranch in Montana, there’s definitely more of that story to come. New year, new goals… same chaotic writer energy. I honestly can’t believe we’ve made it into another year and I’ve somehow got two books out in the world. TWO. ME.

Let’s be honest – being a self-employed business owner and an aspiring author is no walk in the park. Between client work, admin, and remembering to eat occasionally, it’s been a bit hectic lately. But good news… the second book is nearly done!

One book down, another almost out in the world… and about a dozen more sitting half-finished, in notebooks, or just rattling around in my head. Welcome to the chaos of being a writer.
