I thought it was time for a little update on what’s happening behind the scenes with my writing. The good news is that Book 3 has officially been planned out, and I’ll be starting work on it very soon. New year, new goals… same chaotic writer energy. I honestly can’t believe we’ve made it into another year and I’ve somehow got two books out in the world. TWO. ME.

Let’s be honest – being a self-employed business owner and an aspiring author is no walk in the park. Between client work, admin, and remembering to eat occasionally, it’s been a bit hectic lately. But good news… the second book is nearly done!

One book down, another almost out in the world… and about a dozen more sitting half-finished, in notebooks, or just rattling around in my head. Welcome to the chaos of being a writer. So, what’s actually on the horizon? Let’s have a little nosey through the works-in-progress and “one day maybe” ideas...

Back in 2018, I had one of those dreams - you know the kind that clings to your brain like glitter and refuses to let go. A nameless girl stood on an island, singing a haunting melody that I couldn’t stop humming. I quickly voice-noted the whole thing before work so I wouldn’t forget... and that song? It lived rent-free in my head for weeks.
