Is Another Day On The Island based on a true story?
Nope! It’s completely fictional. The idea actually came from a dream I had back in 2018 that stuck with me, and I couldn’t shake the image of a girl stranded on an island, singing to herself. That dream became the seed of Charlotte’s story.
What genre is ADOTI?
It’s a mix of Family Saga and Survival Fiction, with a strong thread of contemporary drama running through it. Basically: emotional, tense, and a little bit heartbreaking, but also hopeful.
Will there be a sequel?
Another Day On The Island is a standalone story.
Where can I buy the book?
It’s available worldwide on Amazon — you can find it here.
Can I leave a review?
Please do! Reviews on Amazon and Goodreads make a huge difference to indie authors like me. Even a couple of lines about what you enjoyed helps other readers discover the book.
Who is your favourite character in the book?
That’s tough — Charlotte (the narrator) will always have a special place in my heart, but I have a real soft spot for Bethany too.
Do you write full-time?
Not yet! Alongside being an author, I run Pryer Assistants, my virtual assistant business, and create resources for freelancers and small businesses. Writing fits in around everything else, which means a lot of late nights and early mornings.
What’s next for you?
My second novel, How the West Was Faked, is on the way. It’s a romantic comedy with cowboys, chaos, and a heroine who’s winging it (badly). You can follow along on my blog and socials for updates.
